For more than 35 years, Sandra-Lee McBain and Whitney Richardson have been leading Ver-Mac into international markets by constantly innovating, diversifying the product portfolio, and making customer satisfaction their main objective.
Their strategic vision inspires passion and the desire to excel among personnel in our Québec City, Canada, and Conroe, Texas, plants. They are the pillars of the Ver-Mac family, which includes our loyal employees, long-standing partners and, of course, our valued customers.
What drives Sandra-Lee? Building relationships, conquering new markets, implementing business strategies, and pushing boundaries.
Outside of work, Sandra-Lee enjoys spending time with loved ones, travelling, reading and playing sports.

What drives Whitney? Designing products, setting up production units, developing new work methods, reviewing processes, and coming up with innovative ideas.
Outside of work, Whitney enjoys spending time with loved ones, travelling, and playing golf.
President
With a bachelor’s degree in industrial relations and a master’s in business administration, Marc-Antoine Moisan has risen through the ranks at Ver-Mac, from human resources director to company president.
Now at the helm, he works with the management team to strategically position the company and align operations with market needs. He also oversees the implementation of our strategic plan and manages our major transformation projects.
For Marc-Antoine, it’s the teams that make Ver-Mac a success. He is proud of the quality and innovative nature of our products that embrace the digital technology era.
Vice President, Products and R&D
After more than 20 years of management experience in various fields, Serge Beaudry joined Ver-Mac in 2012 to focus on the road signage and traffic control industry.
In addition to managing the R&D teams, he is also in charge of the product portfolio. What motivates him on a daily basis is identifying market needs and developing products that best meet them.
During his time as co-chair of the Work Zone Data Exchange think tank, he developed a passion for smart work zones. Today, his team constantly strives to improve the safety of workers and motorists by designing reliable, innovative solutions.
Vice President, Human Resources
Positive and dedicated, Claudine Therriault is in charge of our human resources department and the company’s organizational development. She has over 25 years’ experience in the field.
At Ver-Mac, she supports our employees in a growth environment. On a day-to-day basis, she helps to create an encouraging and stimulating work environment so that everyone can reach their full potential. Her many corporate projects motivate her to give 100%. Claudine is also the director of our United Way workplace campaign.
Claudine loves spending time with her family. And she’s always ready to travel and discover new horizons.
Vice President, Special Projects
Rodney McBain has been part of the Ver-Mac family for over two decades. He has worked in several departments over the course of his career and has seen the company grow from a small local operation to one that now runs two large plants.
With his diverse experience and strategic mindset, he manages major projects involving our infrastructure, such as setting up our Conroe plant and launching our new electronics laboratory.
Rodney is also very involved in the community. During the holiday season, he welcomes many visitors to his Christmas tree farm. He is also a volunteer firefighter in his spare time.
Vice President, Customer Experience
With Ver-Mac for over 20 years, Scott McBain has extensive market knowledge and experience in customer service management, technical support and smart work zones. He manages a team of 30 people dedicated to customer satisfaction.
Working with our internal teams, Scott ensures that we develop a customer-centric approach to every interaction, incorporating customer feedback, and implementing and testing innovative solutions.
On his days off, Scott enjoys fly fishing and archery.
Vice President, Finance and Administration, CPA, CMA
Stéphanie Laplante joined the Ver-Mac family in 2022 with 20 years experience as a manager and then vice president in various manufacturing, high tech and construction companies.
Motivated by achieving goals, Stéphanie likes to make the numbers speak for themselves and work with a team in continuous improvement and growth. She brings us her in-depth expertise in data analytics, performance indicators and other relevant data to steer our company’s development. On a day-to-day basis, she manages and supports our finance and accounting teams.
Surrounded by her family, Stéphanie loves being outdoors and taking part in a wide range of activities.
Vice President, ITS Engineering
A traffic engineer for almost 35 years, Todd Foster has a wealth of knowledge in the road construction industry. Having worked as a consultant, urban traffic engineer and sales engineer, he understands the challenges faced by agencies, consultants, and our partners in the traffic control field.
Todd has been involved with smart work zones since their inception and joined Ver-Mac in 2009, where he is responsible for all aspects of connected work zones. His technical expertise and strong communication skills help us engage with our partners and customers and find optimal technological solutions for them, as efficiently and economically as possible.
Todd particularly enjoys the variety and complexity of the projects he works on. What drives him? Making roads safer for everyone, while meeting the specific needs of our customers.
Outside the office, Todd enjoys everyday life with his family and friends and enjoys downhill skiing and scuba diving.
Vice President, Sales
Todd Melin has been involved in the road safety industry for over 30 years. With a wealth of experience in managing sales teams, he joined Ver-Mac in 2010.
As VP of Sales, Todd has assembled a high-performing team from the ground up, with a solid reputation for expert, proactive and friendly customer service. He is also deeply involved in the American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA), where he has served on several specialized committees.
In his spare time, Todd enjoys a good book, golf and hockey.
Vice-President, Marketing
Caroline Forest is Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at Ver-Mac. She brings over 15 years of sales and marketing leadership experience to drive the company's growth and support its shift toward digital solutions and harnessing the value of data.
Driven by a customer-centric approach, Caroline stands out for her ability to understand the needs, challenges, and aspirations of Ver-Mac's partners to design solutions that generate gains in productivity, safety, and profitability.
Her diverse experience—ranging from agri-food to road safety technology—allows her to bring a fresh and complementary perspective to the management team.
She particularly enjoys contributing to the transformation of an ambitious family business, surrounded by a talented and committed team that places its customers, employees, and worker safety at the heart of its priorities.
Vice-President, Operations
Adam first joined the Ver-Mac team in 2019 as Operations Manager in our Texas facility before rising to the position of Vice-President of Operations in our Quebec headquarters in 2022.
With an MBA and 10 years of service in the Canadian Forces, he brings a business-oriented, results-driven approach to operations. His focus on efficiency and process improvement helps ensure Ver-Mac delivers top-quality equipment to customers on time and consistently.
What Adam values most is the opportunity to work with a highly skilled team committed to quality and continual innovation, driven by their role in Ver-Mac’s mission to make roads safer.
Director – Logistics and Procurement
Liam grew up at Ver-Mac and has worked for the company since age 14. He has worked in almost every department, from production to customer support, and supervising warehouse and shipping operations. With a degree from Concordia University, he stepped into the role of Director of Logistics and Procurement in 2024.
His in-depth knowledge of Ver-Mac’s products and processes is perfectly leveraged in this role. Liam supports both Ver-Mac’s and our customers’ success by sourcing quality materials and ensuring we deliver trailers and service parts on time and in perfect condition.
Outside of work, Liam enjoys backcountry snowmobiling, as well as hunting and fishing.
Internal Sales
Kaylee holds a degree in business management and has worked at Ver-Mac since age 15, bringing both strategy and a deep knowledge of the company to her role.
Within the Internal Sales team, she coordinates production and lead times with teams across the company to ensure a smooth and seamless process from sale to delivery.
Driven by problem-solving and seeing departments align to succeed, Kaylee works daily with colleagues in both Canada and the U.S. to ensure every order is an opportunity to deliver excellence.
Outside the office, Kaylee enjoys traveling and spending quality time with family.
